Tapanappa represents the continuation of a 40-year mission by pioneering winemaker Brian Croser and his family: to craft world-class wines from South Australia’s most “Distinguished Sites.” These include Chardonnay from the Piccadilly Valley, Pinot Noir from the Southern Fleurieu, and Cabernet blends from Wrattonbully.
The Winery & Cellar Door is located at the foot of The Tiers Vineyard— the oldest in the Adelaide Hills and internationally acclaimed for producing exceptional Chardonnay.
Our winery site is also home to DAOSA and Terre à Terre, founded by Brian’s daughter and son-in-law, Lucy and Xavier Bizot. DAOSA is renowned for its méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines from the Piccadilly Vineyard, while Terre à Terre focuses on fine Bordeaux varieties from the Crayères Vineyard.
